Assalamu alaikum,
I tried to apply for a visiting visa for my dad,
but it was rejected since he is above 60.
before he used to come here from U.A.E,
now he is in India.Last he came here in 2009, October.
he used to come here before for 1 mth visa(tourist visa)

You can get tourist visa thru some Hotels near Old Al Ghannim - (dont go 5 star hotels)you will get 1 month visa in just 1 day

its difficult to get a visa but you just need to keep trying. you can get him a tourist visa if he is planning to come here for less than a month or so.
