My friend have not returned here in Doha from there country before his visa expires yesterday June 10,2013 due to car accident he meets in there country during his vacation.He left his family here ,her wife is company sponsored (hamad hospital)but his child is under him.What will happen to his RP/VISA is it automatically cancelled?how about his sponsored child?

Radius, to transfer the sponsorship don't you think he (father) should be having a valid RP?

Better to get his visa renewed by his Company to avoid issues.

The mother can sponsor the child or transfer of sponsorship kabayan, don't worry or his visa can be renew by his company.
