Hi...

I am very happy to find this website. I feel like I have a friends/hope who can help me with my problem. Here is my story, By this end of this month I will visiting my viance in Doha and I have 14 days tourist visa. What I really interested in is to get stay visa or even working visa if any company interested to hire me. We both don't know where to ask regards the visa and permits regulation.

I would like to stay in Doha with my viance and if I can find any job in here will be perfect. I just dont know where to start looking. We are planning to get married soon but because my viance is very busy with the work at the moment there is no way he come to Jakarta and make the ceremony. Do you think in Doha we can find any institution who can help us? I am christian and my viance is catholic and we can do both way ceremony.

Please do help with some advise. Thank you so much.

Hi Mila,

Welcome to Qatar ...

About work you may try to make an add in the news paper under classifieds once you arrive as all the other expats do especially the filipinos and indians.

As for the marriage ceremony, I believe you can do it in the indonesian embassy, you tell him to ask there so you both will be sure.

Congratulations in advanced :)

Hey Mila...U Indonesian? I have a soft corner for Jakarta as it was my 1st internation assignment & I fell in love with the place.

Well, what is viance? I suppose u meant fiance. Anyway, I do not know exactly abt Doha, but I suggest u refrain from such activities as getting married etc. Gulf is the place to work and gain financial strength. If at all going back to JKT is difficult, you may consider Bahrain as a venue. Rest more expert people can suggest.
