My wife is here under visit visa from 20 May 2012, and 6 month is going to finish soon. i heard we can extend family visit visa more 1 or 2 months(after 6 months stay). can u please suggest me the procedure or requirements to get it.
2day Morning i went to Gharaffa immig office for getting extension for 7th month & carrying with confirmed flight ticket taken from qatar airways. Counter itself refused to extend today, They told me to come before 1 week of expiry date.
no need for a return ticket, try for extension not only once if not approved, transfer to other counter or other immigration ofc, either in mesammier, wakra, or al khor.
u can get visa extended for a month without any problems. All you need to do is to produce a ticket copy dated any day of the seventh month to the captain . the other option is a doctor certificate stating the health status if she is pregnant or so

mode of immigration officers are different.
take ticket on any day before the end of 7th month. go their with passport. no need to see anyone.
take the token. wait for your turn.
just tell them need to extend one more month
with out any recommendation. it is posisble

Same procedure as you did before for extension...It depends on the way you to convince them for extension..u should have a genuine reason.
