I am a single man working at a government institution. I want to bring my mom, 66 years old, to Doha for about 5 months. I know I have to go through medical tests etc. I heard that to sponsor parents for more than 1 month, you need to be married. Is that so? As a single man, can I sponsor my mom to stay here for about 5 months?

Hi, You can sponsor your monther no problem at all not necesary to have your family here or you must be married, but depend upon your Salary Certificate and profession, make sure that she has to undergo medical test after completion of first month.....Regards,
