Family VISA Request Rejection

3 days back i had submitted all the required documents for the family VISA at Ministry of Labor that includes:

1.      Typed Application Form in Arabic
2.      Salary Certificate (Gross is 13500)
3.      Copy of Labor Agreement
4.      Passport, ID & RP copies
5.      Marriage Certificate Translation (attested by PAKI Embassy & MOFA, Qatar)
6.      Wife & Child (3.5 yrs old) passport copies
7.      Child birth certificate (attested by PAKI Embassy & MOFA, Qatar)
8.      3 months bank statements (For me, its been only 3.5 months in Qatar)
9.      Higest Eductional Degree & Transcript (attested by PAKI Embassy & MOFA, Qatar)

Today, i found my application request is being rejected (with no description). I believe, the reason of rejection could be my 3 months Bank Statement as they asked for 6 months. I am working in an IT Company which is not that big but my designation is System Analyst (Parmanent) there.

Can anyone advice me the way forward? and from where can i know the actual reason of application request rejection? Should i meet their official or re-apply after one week? Please suggest. Thanks

what nationalities are difficult to get FV ? Even if the wife doesn't work also difficult ? What if the husband is European or American and the wife is Asian ? Any difference ?

Talking from experience with one of our employees, HR, Management and this employee, they have all affirmed it was nationality - there are a few that are not approved, except under special circumstances.

BTW, there are also nationalities that they won't approve ANY visas for either - that is how things work here.

My husband's application for my visa transfer from work visa to family visa was rejected due to salary which was QAR 6800 at the time. It has been 6 months since the rejection and my husband's salary is now QAR 7000, ( he has bank statements for 6 months as well), He has a tenant contract for accommodation as well.I would like to know what are our chances of having a second application for family visa approved? Is there anybody who can assist us in this regard or is it advisable for my husband to apply directly without seeking any assistance?

has something to do with your nationality:-(

From experience, it takes some extra workings to get FV's approved for Pakistanis.

One of the Pakistani gents in our office took an appointment with the Labour Office to present his case, and it was approved - he had tried and failed twice before.

Good Luck.
