are you sure??? because most of the people told me that only those female working in government can sponsor their family....

i do not have legal papers to prove this, it was not necesary in my country i had just accepted the responsibility and she is now above the age of 20 so getting these will not be possible, but because of her being unmarried i cannot leave her on her own. Thank u, im grateful for any help. Also, do you know if it is possible to hire someone from my country and bring them with me to take care of my kids? thanks again

do u have any guardian certificate to proof that and if yes then probably it can work out and one thing remember to sponsor a person minimum salary requirement is there - 7000 qr. however i will check with my mandoob tommorow and let u know. i doubt this guardian certificate will not work here. i will check tommorow

you mean on a vistors visa? can i not sponsor her at all for a more permanent visa? I am her guardian, she is an unmarried muslim girl would the country not make provisions for this at all? Is there anything i can do about this as she is my responsibiity and i am quite concerned. Thank you for your advice

All the set-up is ready at MOI..and the r going to recieve family visa application by begening of April-2011

Applied 3 days before, to be precise on 21 Mar 2011.... If you r looking for family visit visa, then u can apply only at Immigration and not in Labor.....

I applied for the family visa in Labor this monday (21 March 2011) and got it approved next day. Today (24 March 2011) I rcvd the visa also. There was no rush at all in the Labor department and I finished my application procedure in less than 10mins from Labor.

The requirements for family visa are,

1.Approval letter from work, showing the occupation, salary (should be =QR7000 & above) and kind of contract.

2.Passport copies of husband, wife n children

3. 6 month bank statement of salary, signed and sealed by bank's authority

4. Copy of Marriage certificate

5. Copy of Children birth certificate

6. Copy of Educational certificate attested by embassy n MOFA

7. Copy of Electricity Bill

Thanks Saad for your helpful feedback. Does it mean all application applied before mid of February, they cannot apply a new application to MOI? Should they still need to wait for 6 months to re apply? Do you have any idea?
