Exit permity validity

I am going India on 18/11/2010 by Air India Express, at 1.25 AM. As my sponsor will be out of station after 11/11/2010, he will issue Exit permit on 11/11/2009. Considering the validity of exit permit is one week, can I travel at the scheduled date, expecting that the immigration process will be completed before 12 PM of 17/11/2009. Any delay of few minutes in immigration will cost me much due to expiry of the permit. Please advice

Even I faced the same problem..This wont work, after 12.00 a new date starts yaa..The exit permit wont be valid..

yes exit permit can be valid for one week, however check with your PRO ( Mandoop)
