We should refrain from posting replies unless we have the exact information.
To my information, it can be converted into Employment Visa without leaving Qatar. It happened with me too.
You have to go back to your home country.
here ur visa provider will apply to transfer employerment visa on ur name after ur exit from qatar
then u can come on employment visa
it will take one week or more time to come back
if you get an NOC from your visit visa provider, you can transfer from here itself by paying the charges
