DNRD UAE GCC ONLINE VISA PATHETIC

Hi friends,

I have applied for uae visa before 3 weeks and it mentioned status as Application approved. I contacted Amer chat and contact center for customer support where they confirmed that visa is issued and I can get down at dubai airport and print e-visa and proceed to immigration.

But today when I came to board Qatar Airways flight they didn't give me boarding pass asking to show me copy of visa. It was big nightmare for me after planning n booking everything from here for this trip. Now I'm dialing those Amer online visa services section but they are not responding to the call

Even my designation deserves visa on-arrival the qatar airways guys are not giving boarding pass as they want to see the copy of my visa.

So please beware and make sure that these pathetic amer services people e-mail you with the visa which you carry printout otherwise book flight with emirates and get visa through them well in advance. Don't rely upon dnrd.ae horrible services n end up in disappointment

Yes. Due to this DNRD - apply online visa concept, Many GCC Residents facing issues and causing frustration. Earlier atleast straightly we used to get on-arrival visas.

Now only option for people who didnt receive their e-visa through mails is book return journey through EMIRATES airlines alone and have peaceful journey and pleasant trip.

Hi friends, even i have booked flight ticket with Fly Dubai and applied the visa online. still its showing "Application in process". I am planning to take my family as well. So i had called yesterday Emirates Airways office and asked about this Visa thing. They told me that they have again started On Arrival visa for people from GCC. Only thing you have to travel in Emirates Airlines and not any other airlines including Flydubai etc. So i guess this DNRD visa portal is a total ****mess. Wasted my time and money.

Flydubai are crooks, who wont give you money back if you cancel their tickets, instead they give you Flydibai vouchers which i dont need anyway.

Hi friends, I'm posting this message from Dubai right now. After long arguments/conversation with qatar airways I went to Emirates office within the airport (1st floor, above QAS) and explained them with my situation and shown copy of dnrd visa application where status was "application approved" and they told me that with such status it is "good to travel" and they will make me to board the emirates flight as it is national carrier of UAE.

Immediately I cancelled qatar airways ticket and booked next available flight to Dubai through emirates. After reaching dubai airport I proceeded towards "visa collection" counter where they just asked me to show Qatar RP n immediately stamped on passport n said that's it. It was so smooth process in dubai airport unlike creating hassle by Qatar Airways.

I asked in dubai airport why I wasn't sent visa through

mail? They answered me again "no problem as now online visa for GCC residents come directly and stamp" as i was already late with other schedule streamlined I went ahead without further questions.

Better to book flight with Emirates as atleast for GCC residents even though application status is "application approved" we can board into flight without any issues.
