delay in Work Visa

Hi All

I am an indian citizen.I am offered a job in qatar .I have submitted my details 40 days back.still i have not received my visa.HR says its with the immigration department and will take time.Is this normal with Qatar work visas.I am getting worried.pls advice.In how manys days i will be informed if ur visa is rejected

If your company is having Indian visa then there is nothing to be tensed of. Here Indian visaa takes much longer time. Just pray for the happy news of getting the visa approval. Keep corresspondece with your HR and the PRO. Mostly it depends how active your PRO is.

My company says they have indian visas available and its getting delayed by Immigration.Currently I am working in Oman.Is that can be a reason for delay

we can get in 10-15 day ..........it depends on company....if there is india visa avilabe in your company they will issue in 15 days otherwise they say some bullsh**t resons........

If it had to be rejected, PRO would have told you within 5 days .....

Thanks guys for ur prompt response.My HR says its not rejected and the status is under process.So there is no need to get tensed right?

Indian work visa ussually takes 2-3 months . If it is rejected PRo will be able to know it within a week from the date of the application. But you need not get tensed even if it is rejected as the PRO will be reapplying it again untill its get approved by the immigration dept. My visa was approved at the 3rd application. It got rejected twice.

Yes it is normal, Usually within 90 days Work visa will be issued...
