Company sponsorship from visit. Qlers Help !
these issues were discussed here a million times but i was unable to find an answer.
apologize for adding another topic..
I am currently in qatar on a visit visa. I have recently got a job offer from Qatar foundation and my company visa is under process.
my current permission to stay in Qatar expires in few days... (8th March, friday).
I have contacted QF HR today and he said my visa will be ready by tomorrow or day after probably. (which is the last working day I have got with my current visa)
I also heard this information.. to change visa you need letter from you current sponsor. The company haven't asked anything like that until now. so how is it possible ?!
experienced Qlers please give me a reply...i need to make arrangement's soon if i have to leave country or get another visa ...
Thanks
i know people who has been here for 9months with visit visa and some for 7months. if u can go and talk to the captain and convince him then u will be able to extend your stay. better u take someone who understands either english and arabic or hindi and arabic!
all the best!
thanks for the help guys..
I have only permission to stay in qatar for 3 months. I am in my 4th month now. extended my visit last time after getting permission from captain.. i don't know if i can extend it further.
I thought searching for a job in visit visa is illegal.
if its true i may not be able go to immigration office, present documents and ask for extension. rite ?
If you have a chance to etend your visa it would be better if you extend for another month . About NOC from previous sponsor would be required for some private companies but in QF itmmay not be needed due t visit visa .... Hope it helps ......
Yes you need a NOC from your current sponsor.
isnt there any chance for you to get a visa extention?
may be u can visit the immigration office, explain them the situation, show any supporting documents handed over to you by QF and try to extend your visa??
i dont think they would object! its worth the try if you are sure of the job you are about to get.
