change sponsor of a direct hired employee.

Hi, I just want to ask if a direct hired employee or hired in home country can change his sponsor without leaving the Qatar after his employer/sponsor terminate their contract without cause? If yes, what are the requirements and procedure?

Hope someone out there can give advice.

Thanks in advance!

1) No sponsor, no RP...

2) Yes, but be careful with that... I think you are in the gray area of the law there, and without a employment contract you dont have much recourse if something goes wrong.

3) Not sure what release papers are...

thanks for your reply USAexpat and adrain_bruno but, what if:

1. my RP is cancelled by my employer can i renew it again without going back to my country and also without sponsor?

2. can i get a QATARI sponsor for my permanent visa without giving me job?

3. what are the difference between release papers and NOC?

i hope others concern members could help me to answer those questions.

Merry xmas to all of the member and a happy new year.

You should be worked with your company at least 1 year and of course you need that NOC.

Also it depends if they cancelled your RP, you need to go back in your home country and wait for their new company visa.Because once ur RP CANCELLED you need to exit in qatar.

Other alternatives, you have to renew again your RP so that you dont need to go back in your country.

This is better way of changing sponsor and additional requirements you need a police clearance, computer number of your old company and lastly with your original NOC with stamp.....

merry xmas

Without a no objection certificate from your employer you cannot change jobs-- they can make you go home. But with NOC, no problem. Ask them nicely...
