I am willing to change the profession on my ID for family visa purpose. I have compiled all the documents and on reaching the ministry of labour, the woman at the counter said the baladiya permit of my company is ''a temporarily registered company'' and so it is not eligible for profession change. When I asked further, she roughly explained that my company is only registered as a temporary project company in Qatar.

Please what does this really mean and how can I go about it. Is there any professional mandoob that can be of help?

NOTE: My company is a big company, with head office in UAE, and we undertake projects with Ashgal,Kharamaa and QP. When I asked my HR, he only confirmed that they have received similar comment before but he doesn't know what to do about it too, He's helpless, and not-so-experienced.
