to the immigration dept for the change of your wife name in her residence permit. If you are not in hurry, I suggest you can do this at the time of renewal of her RP.

Hello

My wifes name changed in her new passport. Her old name was with her fathers name & new name is with my name, that is husbands name.

She is having Qatar visa with her old name.

Can somebody tell me what would be the procedure for changing the name in VISA.

Please give some idea

thanks & regards

even if you get married and change your name, dont come on a visit visa. you cannot work without NOC from previous company. dont take the risk. sure you may be issued a visit visa because you're bearing different name and holding new passport but once you undergo fingerprinting, they will see a match in your old record. just a precaution. it actually happened before.

better take charan's advise of getting married and let your husband sponsor you.

Future plans

Nads... correct the dates pls.. ! better get married then ask him to sponsor you on family visa if he can .... you can work under husband sponsorship ! no need for any approval from Labour or Immigration dept. just you need to do is medical test

IF he cannot sponsor you .. then you have no choice you have to get NOC to enter on employment visa.

you really are confused, specially with the dates hehehehe =D

anyway, the suggestion of Charan would be the best. get married and let him get you on a family visa :)

1. may2008 and 7sep08 haven't come yet..

2. what is your exact question? how can you change your name? how can you get married? how can you get the NOC letter? how can you obtain a business visa? all mixed...what's the question?

just go ahead, marry your fiance, and come here...
