Cancellation of wife RP visa

My wife is on RP under my sponsorship.Now she is out of the country for more than 6 months.I am leaving Qatar and planning to move to Dubai after cancellation of my RP.Do I need to cancel my wife RP if I need to apply for a family visa in other country?Does my wife RP gets automatically cancelled since she is out of the country for more than 6 months or do i need to manually cancel her RP ?Appreciate all valuable inputs.
You being her sponsor, you have every right to cancel family RP in her absence with valid reason. Go to immigration with PP / RP copies they will guide you. Your declaration is required to process the exit procedures.
@ Molten.....Do I need the original passport and ID of her to cancel her RP or copy is enough since I myself has to do the formality of the cancellation of my wife RP?
Abhi, Don't worry much ..... Give copies of her RP to your HR dept ... soon , they will do cancellation formalities , then you move out ....... when you wish .. no problems at all for both of you entring and working in UAE ...
