I doubt bcoz dual sponsorship is illegal; either one of you could sponsor your child and joint salary package doesn't work my friend, check with immigration dept.

Yes it's possible. Me and my mother are sponsored by my father. As people already answered, you should have your salary related documents. Also, documents from your home country like passport(ofcourse lol), marriage certificate, the child's birth certificate.

Wish you all the best in bringing your family here ;)

I THINK, I ANSWERED TO SOMEBODY THIS INQUIRY.iN QATAR WIFE CAN NOT STAY ON SPONSORSHIP OF OTHER.IF MARRIED HERE.SHE SHOULD TRANSFER IT TO HER HUSBAND.IT IS OK UNTILL OFFICALLY NOT DECLARED THAT HUSBAND AND WIFE EXIST ALTOGATHER AT DIFFRENT SPONSORSHIP, BUT IT MAKES PROBLEM WHEN THEY GET CHILD.WITHOUT PARENT CHILD CAN NOT GET VISA,AND PARENT MEANS ONE OF THEM SHOULD HAVE FAMILY RP STATUS.SO FIRST GET VAMILY STATUS AND AFTER VISA OF CHILD.

IF BOTH ARE EARNIG IT WILL BE HELPFUL TO GET TRANSFER OF SPONSORSHIP

yuppp they can but only till the age of 18 yrs and not after that coz the child has to change the sponsorship to some working place and then its difficult to stay under fathers sponsorship especially in this country.

You can definitely sponsor your child, provided you have documents to prove that he is your son. You will also need your salary related document. Its very easy.

Cheers to donald_duc168, I am not fully sure about husband and wife in their own sponsorships, but having wife in husband's sponsorship and then apply for visa for child what donald_duc168 is the process. the application should be submitted in Labour Department. I have done it.

Yes it can be, you both need to request salary certificate from your employer. First go to labour ministry to get a form, have your marriage certificate and educational certificate authenticated by your Foreign Ministry. Submit all the requirements to Labour Ministry within a week time you can check in their websites the approved RP number. print it and bring it in immigration for the transfer. Good luck
