Can i tranfer a 2 year project visa?
HI all,
i got an offer from a company & my old sponsor gave me all documents for visa transfer. But the mandoob of new company
told me that my visa is a project visa & it is non transferrable. Is there any chance to tranfer my visa to new sponsor. i am waiting for your valuable comments.

Project visa with your current sponser can work life time with other projects as well in same company
. No any need to exit after contract of 2 or 3 years.
Yes it is difficult to transfer into new sponser due to blockING by labor deptt.
It's all drama to make life difficult for all expats..
Dear All, Project Visa means you have to exit after the completion of your contract but if u want to work for other company they u have to complete 2 yrs and again u have to renew your visa with old sponsor. If u got a new job collect NOC and other required documents from old sponsor and collect required documents from new sponsor the go to labour office near ramada al sadd. There u have to submit all documents if u have any doubts u can clear all ur doubts there also they will tell u that u will receive SMS in one week and thats it in that message u will know whether it is locked or unlocked. Note: SMS will receive in Arabic so before u delete any message just take care

I got what is IARA is? But the Mandoob told me after the visa validity of 2 years, i cannot renew the visa if i am with my old sponsor also.

What is IREA?
It is not transferable. But maybe you can work with your new sponsor if they will accept IARA.
Your visa is for a specific project valid for two years and I don't think it can be transferred.
