Can I possible to get Visa in any GCC without cancelling Qatar RP?
I've valid RP in Qatar.
Valid for 8 months more.
But If i want to join any other company in other GCC, what i want to do?
Is it compolsory to cancel my current RP?
or automatically it 'l cancel while getting new RP there?
If i didnt cancel here what are the possible problems which i need to face?
Why i am asking ths s , tday sombdy answrd for the one same Qstn as "IN GCC ALL R CENTRALISED SYSTEM"!!!
So should b beware "when they 'l impliment the rule **NOC required from previous employer from any GCC"!!!
if you have rp,stamped on your passport, normaly you can not get rp from other gcc country.what you can do you can keep rp of one country and get multiple visit visa for other. we did so for some of our Engineers who have to work in both country.
if you do get another offer in any of the GCC countries, stayin outside Qatar for more than 6 months will automatically lead to cancellation of your residence work visa here in Qatar. So, u really dont hav 2 worry abt coming bac and thinkin abt it all.
The same question in a different was asked early this morning.
You are not allowed to keep Residents Permits of any of the GCC Countries at the same. You should cancel one to get the other one.
So far I know you must cancel your RP from Qatar to take up any new RP in other GCC contries. Recently one of my friend have the experience from Dubai.
He went there without cancel the RP from here, but authorities denied his RP there because of his valid Qatar RP. Then he send his passport here and luckly his pevious employer agree to cancel his Qatar RP. But everyone will not get that chance once you leave this country.
So if you are serious in your relocation please do nesseccery.
i think u have to cancel the rp here in qatar first. then only u can stamp ur visa any where in gcc. bec. i heard a story of one who came qatar without cancelling his rp in dubai and failed to stamp the rp ..deported to homeland. moreover if u do so u will be underlined by emmigration as ubsconding.
