Can I leave Qatar while my residency permit is still undergoing?

Dear All,

I am field engineer from China, currently my company is processing residency permit for me, which has lasted almost 4 months :(, now I have lost my patience and I'm keen to go back for vacation, but company told me I can not 'cause if so all the application has to be started again.

Until now I haven't got blood test and finger printed, so my question is can I leave here and re-enter when residency permit is still under processing? Actually I don't care this permit, I just want to go back to visit my family!

Yes you can..I did it this month, but you have to get a return visa stamped on ur passport before u leave

Thanks, but currently my passport is still in my hand, so is it possible for me to leave? Hopefully my company will give me exit visa...

No. Because the authority will have to hold your passport so they can stick your RP in it.
