Can I deamand for Release?
I am a Qualified Accountant with Degree in B.Sc.Business Administration (Finance) Special. In March 2005, I came to Qatar with an employment visa of a local Company as an Accountant. Due to practical difficulties prevailed on that company, within a month time; I managed to get the release by paying additional amount of money and joined with another local company, which is my present employer.
Presently I am working for this company more than Three years. As my current employer is paying a very low salary when compare to Market rate, and not increase the salary even after two years of services, I decided to seek a better offer in Qatar itself, beliving that I could easily get the release since I have been recruited locally.
Recently I was offered an Employment offer in a well reputed listed company in Doha with a very attractive remuneration package, which is four times higher than the present salary package. When I requested release from my present employer, he refused without any valid reason.
due following reasons, can I get legal advice for release?
• As I am not directly been recruited by my present employer,
• There is no fixed contract between me and employer except the Letter of Appointment,
• I have been working for my present employer for more than three years,
• I have been under paid, when compare to Market rate.
Sir, I was trying to put forward my issues to Human Rights Authorities in Qatar, but unfortunately I could not receive any feed back from such Government bodies in Qatar.

Unfortunately, No. You cannot demand NOC from your current employer. All the reasons that you have given here dont matter. Depends on the company.
It was NEVER stated on the Labor Law that company MUST release the employee after X no of years. Unfortunately, you don't have a case against the company. As long as they give you what's in the offer/contract that you signed, you can't file a complaint from the labor department. Maybe you can check with your Mandoop, as they are the people who process this documents. sometimes, all you have to do is give them some money and they'll give you the document that you need. Just be careful, if you don't know who you're dealing with.
