Ban confusion .....

Dear all,
I was wondering if anyone has the actual answer ... I am seriously planning to leave Qatar and go work in the UAE . I am tired of working very underpaid, 6 days a week, 10 hours a day , and salaries getting paid two weeks late for no reason at all . Anyway , my company won't give NOC even if I came back to Doha with my own money, they didn't take me here . I work under threat and blackmail like ''if u don't like it this way you can leave'' . I have my two children here , they live with their father, and I have done lots of sacrifices to come back to Doha and now I am not even being compensated for the job I do .
Anyway, I have always knew that the infamous two year ban means only not being allowed to work in Qatar for two years but I can still come and visit . Now for the first time I heard that for two years is not allowed to even enter the Country as a tourist .... I have always heard it of two different things , as someone who used to work with me left two months ago, but is now here on a visit so it sounds really weird to me ... does it depend on something in particular ?

Many people left Qatar to find a better job in UAE and they struggled for months before settling for jobs paying half the salary.

get a job in UAE before leaving your current job....

understand your situation and frustration invoved, but sometimes we need to control our emotions before taking any drastic step....

All the best...

No, I am not dependant on my my husband coz we r divorced, he abused the law and got custody of MY children but thats another story . My question, anyway, was if for sure I can come and see my kids even if i will have the two year work ban . Who would want to work here again after my experience , anyway ..... I will go to the UAE and if I can come back here and see my kids, its fine .

My advice, please go for it. I have been in UAE for six years, you will really love it and enjoy life there.

As for the ban, do not worry, it is only for residence, not for visit or tourism.

BlueBull ofcoz Doha is a best place, actually it was, nowadays it moves backward, I didn’t mean about their construction field or development, it’s about something else, hope u got ma point,

Indeed Jade, I’ve been to Muscat before I steps here, n one of my friend living there for long, he enjoying there, n I saw how simple n best their rules n regulations, it’s cover up everyone!

Fj well said, it is very true.

To me still Oman stands on top of all GCC counties with its great rules and the nationals there do not allow hungry money minters to do all bad to company and employees. It is monitored really very well by the government and its officials (all nationals).

Yeah,,, UAE is better as i know, n you will be able to visit here no worries on that.

Seriously, doha filled with these kind of stupid companies, especially who came from subcontinent n established a company which has ridicules rules n regulations also very much unfair to their employees, the peoples from everywhere else flew from their homeland to get, earn n save something for their future, but some of employers destroys it because of their own desire.

your question is: can you come back after leaving your job, on a visit visa or as a dependent under your husband?

answer: in a word, yes..confirmed, true and as sure as day and night..

your old company can only harm you further if you want to come back and work..in that case, without an NOC, yes, you need to wait two years..

You dont seem to CooooooooooooL

Remember you are a mom and behaving so nervous will disturb yourselves and family. I'm a one who have come here regularly in the ban by means of on-arrival visa (depends on your UAE or any GCC ID profession) or can get a business or family visa and stay here for 3 months only, take exit and come back again by the next flight to re-enter into Doha and have time with kids. Message me in inbox if you need more details and assistance.

Better for you to work in UAE as it is only 45 min from Doha atleast you will not be far from your children if you want to visit them.UAE is the best option for you to work.
