On arrival visa in Dubai
Hi all, I am trying to apply for an on arrival visa to Dubai through their online service https://www.gdrfa.ae/GCCIND/createVisa.do
But there is no option to add my wife and child. I have seen posts that shows how to apply, and in those posts they had a field to add your dependents. But when i try those fields are not available. Any ideas about how to go about this?
Thanks
Thanks u all!!
To all wish to travel to Dubai. Only those higher profession can avail visa on arrival. Some Airlines they are not accepting to travel without visa prior to Departure. Please check with Airlines with whom you travel. This rules implement until further notice.
Passengers (GCC residents) will be able to obtain a Visa on arrival (VOA) based on their professions as per the latest update from Dubai immigration.
Passengers need to ensure the below conditions to be eligible for Visa on arrival.
1.RP (Resident Permit) should be valid for a minimum of 03 months up on arrival.
2.Passport should be valid for a minimum of 06 months up on arrival.
3.Should have been a resident in Qatar for a minimum of 06 months on the same profession and with the same sponsor.
4.Return ticket is compulsory.
NOTE: •GCC NATIONALS are eligible to obtain VOA.
•Any housemaid, driver or chef traveling with their sponsors who are GCC Nationals can obtain VOA. Online visa is not required as long as accompanied by GCC National Sponsor.
•Foreigners who are resident in the GCC and are married to GCC nationals can get VOA as long as they are traveling together like before.
•Passengers who previously applied on the UAE immigration website will have to wait for a their Visa approval before traveling. This for FZ Airlines only
QL_member You are right, however, w.e.f 01Oct 2015, they have changed the procedure and every one now one is required to take a prior visa before travelling. The website mentioned is only for the GCC Residents, who are eligible for visa on arrival due to their higher category of Profession in their ID. For the non eligible, they have to still go through airline or Hotel or tourist company visas.
if you eligible for on arrival, don't waste your time. I flew few times in past weeks.
There is no system of applying together. You have to fill out separate applications for them, the way you are filling up for yourself. However, in their application against the column Sponsor, please write your name and in brackets write Husband or Father. Please also attach a copy of your Qatar ID in their application. I also understand that due to some technical problem in their application system, they are still allowing visa on arrival at Dubai. Please confirm the same with the airline.
