Dear frineds,
I have completed 2 years contract with my company on this March & RP also expired. Actually I don't like to renew my contract with this company so I didn't renew my contract.I have given resignation letter from last January.But now my companies management put one notice and telling that 'we ll approve exit, annual leave,etc. after May only we ll consider,because we are on our fast track projects so as per Qatar labour law we have a right to hold you upto project completion or maxmum 3month, is it right?
If I go to Labour Court or Embassy can I go to my native?
In my knowledge legal procedure to leave in your case will take more time than your company offered, so better to complete more three months and return with dignity.
You should contact your native country embassy's legal department. They will be able to advise you.
only one month notice period...thats all. but they have right to ban u in this country for two years..To hold u till end of their project..does not make any sense.
I guess there is no law like that. Better visit a Law Firm to confirm if there is any ;)
