Kabayan, please advise me, how/what are the documents need to submit in our embassy to get Affidavit of Support for my wife. Is scanned copy enough to show in Manila Airport Immigration or Original to be send? Is this document really necessary?

Visa copy, your ID copy and your personal appearance required by the embassy, original copy required by our airport immigration officers!

my in-laws just came here last week. you need not to send the original one as for my case i just send mail with attached (scanned) affidavit of support and it was all okay. thanks.. good luck!

I did this process 3 years ago and one of the essential documents is the salary certificate. I'm not sure if they have added other documents.

You need to send the original one to your family in the Philippines as this will be presented to the immigration.
