I’m also having a similar issue as well. I got hired by Qatar based company but still waiting in India for work visa. My company hasn’t yet received new work visas. When I checked with a friend who runs a visa consultancy, I could know that new work visas for foreign recruitment are tough to obtain, especially if the company already has more than 80% of manpower in each nationality quota. For me, being an Indian (who form the major share of workforce in that company), it seems to be a very long wait.
Your company seems to be in this category. Also, those companies with not so good history also will face more rejections. The visas are being issued on strict basis only, even though Hukoomi told that there are no such restrictions in place.
Lastly, MADLSA’s regulations are aimed at filling vacancies from local talent pool, which makes our wait even longer.
