What kind of repair? For regular mechanical repairs (excl. engine transmission) I recommend the workshops near Midmac R/A on Salwa Road (between Spice & Sizzle and McDonald's). There are a bunch of workshops there with different expertise.

Alternatively, go further down Salwa Road to Ghanim al Jadeed and there should be plenty of workshops there. However, you won't find the professionalism and communication requirements you mentioned in your post :P They're cheaper though.
