Let me explain the steps of passport renewal at ICC.
1) Carry your old passport original, photocopy(xerox) of the same, 2 passport size photos with white background( better get it done form a studio for proper photo sizes), spouse passport xerox and filled in application form.(the application form can be filled in the indian embassy passport portal). Also carry the QID original and photocopy.
2) Go to counter 1 - the person sitting there will verify the docs and issues a token.
3) Go to cash counter- pay 282 QR - get the receipt
4) After 10 days, go to ICC- counter 2 - show the receipt and collect your passport.
IF YOU DONOT KNOW TO FILL THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM, dont worry. Inside ICC, there is an office where they will fill the form for you for just 20 QR.waiting time will be 15 minutes there. So just carry the documents and photos- rest they will do it for you
IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS, you have to produce new address documents. If just renewal of old passport with same address, it is very easy.
