Hi David, I know a friend who bought 2013 or 2014 Supercharged Rover and he is loving it. He bought it from a previous owner who maintained it well and he paid around 52k QAR for that.
Usually RR is dependable car and comfort is unbeatable. It has all the controls you need to suit your driving style. Has 4 ride air suspension system adjustments that can go pretty much anywhere.
Now, before you buy any used car in Qatar do not forget the mandatory computer test of that car. Once the car comes out clean in computer test, you have a green signal to go ahead and purchase the car. So that takes care of pre- purchase actions.
Maintenance and spares - For this region and especially in Qatar, spare parts are going to be on a high side. I know a friend who had RR suspension gone bad and he was asked by the dealer to shell out 80k QAR for replacement. I think that sums up the spare cost. For maintenance, every 6 months you will spend atleast 2k QAR for oil and gear oil changes. Again, its on higher side and fee you pay for luxury and comfort. Al fardan will take care of all Maintenance and spares.
If you can get hold of RR ranging from 2013 to 2016 within a price range of 50k to 65k and mileage not more than 80k to 125k, you can call the shots.
Summary - Its a very comfortable car provided you have it checked by professionals before you buy. Maintenance cost and spare parts are expensive for luxury that you get.
Best of efforts and Have a good one!.
