I tend to agree with Brit. I know an Asian family both husband and wife have good jobs. They have turned down the offer of free company accommodation from their Q company employer si that they and their kids can squeeze into a small partioned villa and each month they can save a few thousand riyals. They could live comfortable lives in the free housing but they would prefer to "suffer" for years in partioned housing. Not everyone living in these places are doing so because they have no option. They do it because they are desperate for that bit more cash.
