@Segbas,lemmie start with "Limited Contract". It will be for a specified period say 2 years.
You should complete the entire contractual period then only you will be entitled for the gratuity.
In case you have to resign before the end of contract,you'll bear the cost of your own ticket plus any Work visa Fees to the employer because you've terminated the contract in between means you "bleached" the agreement. But if employer terminate you on any other ground other than performance unsatisfactory then he "employer is entitled to pay your dues plus any balance of the contractual agreement...

This is for an unspecified duration "unlimited period"just like falling in love for the first time,no specifications,in this case any party can terminate the contract any time by giving one month's notice .
