MN true that we dont know when and where we would die. However, keeping the probabilities we all plan our future lives as building a home back home, savings or investments. Same also holds true for the probability of whether an expat would be here or somewhere else (I guess the highest probability would be home country) when it dies. Moreover, the probability of an individual surviving beyond the employable age i.e. say 60 years also needs to be considered. Adding up all the probabilites in normal circumstances I guess most of us expats will not be in Qatar when they are on their death bed. I am not sure if anyone plans based on its death at a particular time as generally it is open ended.
