Thanks guys for all your comments...Just to add more on that I now have an option to take accommodatoin allowance up to QAR 6,500 or a fully furnished 2 bedroom company accommodation. This will leave with QAR 13,500 for food, bills and transport expenses/savings (if any). As a couple, we are not planning to share accommodation with anyone nor wish to live in an industrial areas like others.
I am fully aware eating/drinking will be expensive depending on the quality of living. But I am not planning for high end living, but more of a decent expat living like we all do in western world...
