Personally, my first step would be to contact my head of year, deputy head or head teacher before even considering the SEC. Schools here do not want bad press so involving the SEC will mean that the school could make your life a misery! PM me the situation if you want and I will say it like I see it!

And surely your school has policies on this that should safeguard staff?
