Greetings all! I've been following this thread for a long time and feel that it should have its own group (instead of randomly popping up in the Recent feed). Great rigs and greater ideas here! =^)

Recently I've run into a problem with my gaming rig to where the Asus P6T6 WS Revolution diagnostic card displays '00' and the display screen message indicates there is no CPU being read. BIOS shows the CPU active and reading, but the temperatures are really high even with new Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste and a clean working fan (stock). I'm wondering if anyone who follows this group is available to let me dryboard (cardboard setup for portability) and test each of the possible components for failure (mostly CPU, RAM, CPU fan). Rig is all US-bought components.

Online searches on both regional and US component tech websites don't provide a lot of answers other than guesses and most people giving up and buying new parts.

Rig setup:

CASE: Antec 900 (super full tower w/plenty of huge fans)
MOBO: Asus P6T6 WS Revolution mobo (1st gen)
BIOS Information: Version 0905
Build Date 24 Dec 2010
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz
FAN: Intel stock CPU fan
RAM: 6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600MHz (2nd gen) tri-channel w/fins
GPU: nVidia GeForce 9400GT 512MB DDR2
PSU: Antec Signature Series HG-850w
OS: Vista Ultimate Edition
OTHER: LG Blu-Ray burner, Sony DVD-burner, WD VelociRaptor 300GB HDD, x2 internal HDDs, etc.

Will be bringing just the dryboarded mobo, CPU+fan, GPU, RAM, O/S HDD, PSU. I'm trying to test if there is a problem with the CPU, the mobo CPU slot, the fan seating on the CPU (brackets), mobo/PSU failing, or doubtfully the RAM. Gracias in advance! =^)
