Cloth was invented to protect our delicate skin from the elements. Mostly the cold, wet and sun.

Now we have sun block, air conditioning, etc, and the need for clothes is not as pressing as it once was.

Covering in light fabrics is a good idea to protect you from the sun though. If you do.n't want to use sun block.
