if u loot at the tyre, u will see something like..
XXX/XX RXX XXX for eg 205/65 R16 95V
now 205 is the width, 65 is the aspect ratio, R16 is the outer dia of the rim, next is load index and speed rating.
so u want to fix r17 instead of r14.
you an do it easily by a suitable tyre.
so what happens is...
the outer dia of the tyre remains same.
the tyre width increase. the inner dia of tyre increase to fit R17.
this is the simple and easy way. if u want to have bigger rims with bigger tyres, then it needs some work......
