Michellebailem, the Animal resources department on Airport Road do a TNR (Trap Neuter & Release) Program where by cats are trapped (by yourself or ministry), and are taken to the ARD and then neutered. Two days later they will be released back to the area they are taken from.

You can do this yourself - If you contact Cats in Qatar (See Facebook page) and speak to a lady called June, she will guide you through the entire process.

2020Olympics, there has never been a government campaign against them - don't talk absolute nonsence - The government provide a service for strays - many other countries don't. Hats off to Qatar for trying to control the stray population.

BTW.... I'd like to inform you, that most westerners have their animals neutered - what we don't seem to find is those of Arabic culture embracing the spay/neuter concept - So lets guess where all these cats come from - again, don't talk of things you know absolutely nothing about!!!
