Visas are issued to companies. The most important document that proves the company's existence is a valid CR. I think if CR is allowed to expire, the company ceases to exist thereafter and so do the visas issued for the company until and unless they are transferred to some other entity before the CR expiry.
Find out exactly when the company's CR is expiring, then catch hold of your visa before that. You stand a good chance of getting a release rather than an NOC.
