You should have come back to Carrefour within 24-36 hours from time of purchase.

It will take them 2 weeks to check the gadget whether its "factory defect" or you did something why it wasnt working.

I guess you thought that after 10 days AFTER you purchased you walk back and say its not working, THEY WILL JUST GET A NEW UNIT and exchange it?
