I arrived to Qatar on 16/11/2011 and had my medical done on 17/11/2011. My registration was done online.

I arrived at the medical commission at about 4.15pm and there was already a queue for both that came directly and those that registered online.

The medical starts at 4.30pm, but after about 10 minutes, the countered stopped as they had to go for their prayers. Back again after another 10 mins.

The medical only requires a chest X-Ray & Blood test and I had it completed by about 6.00pm.

It would have been earlier if not for some Qataris who came in to cut the queue and used their influence to grant the groups of people they brought to do the test.

Thereafter, I went to a hospital (can't remember the name but the 2nd floor looks like a 5 star hotel lobby) to do my blood grouping test (20 QR).

I believe that if you go in the morning, there'll be a very large group of people.

For me, during the evening session, all were in the registration office and all had a seat.

I don't know how long the results take, but I did my finger printing on 21/11/2011 and got my RP on 22/11/2011 (Yesterday).

Hope this info helps.
