jjj75, I just hear a lot of horror stories about nannies here in the UAE, that, combined with the high cost of sponsorship here, makes me wary of employing one, especially as she would have to be a live out maid. 

On the other had, I worry about the kind of attention my baby will get at a nursery.  Will he be ignored, or just left to lie in a crib all day?
