I would never come to Qatar as a tourist. I would go to Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Tunesia and Dubai, but would consider Qatar as a stopover only for 1 or 2 days. There is not that much to see and naturaly beauty nada. Okay, they desert is nice, but they have that in Dubai too and in many other Middle East countries.
What I also don't understand how could Bahrain will be the second one. There is really not much to see there and they don't even have a good airline to be considered as a stopover destination.
I really can't imagine someone to buy return ticket, book a week in a holiday just for the sole purpose of holidaying in Qatar. Maybe only if I have been to over 150 countries, seen most of the world and now I have lots of time and money.
