After watching what is going on in this conversation, I am going to add my two cents worth.

I have been in Qatar 6 years - and I as many others here would love to be more involved with Qatar as long termers, but as others have told you here, it doesn't work like that. There is a big difference between expatriot workers with RPs and an immigrant. An immigrant interlocks with the local community and becomes part of that country. They get rights when they become citizens.

In Qatar, it never has and never will work like that. Why don't you speak to the many Indians, Asians, AND Arabs who were born here and have lived here their entire lives - 90% of them and their families have not received Qatari nationality and the 10% that have, will tell you it means nothing. They cannot do any with that nationality, because they are not pure Qatari.

Stop slandering people who have been here many years and do actually know what they are talking about. I am sorry it doesn't fit into your perfect little world of being an immigrant - this is not Canada. Its strange that your own country has denied your husband citizenship, yet you slander Qatar for not giving the same opportunities.

Without a doubt, you are racist - there is no point in denying this - its plainly obvious from your posts. You are also dillusional - Just like all of us here, you are nothing in this country - the difference is, the rest of us accept this for what it is - its time you did too!

This has nothing to do with us having a low self esteem - its just the way it is.
