After returning the car, the rent-a-car people called me and said that the total cost of repair and police report comes out to be QAR 700 (so I have to pay all of it). I was not too upset about paying the cost, because before returning the car, I took it to a garage which gave me an estimate of QAR 450 as charge to fix the damage. Therefore, the cost that rent-a-car company charged was not over the moon, so I am okay with it.
