Thanks so much all of you for your replies to my query. In addition to the documents mentioned by Khanan and aashghar, dont I need to provide a proof to the Immigration department that my mother is actually my mother. Dont I need to provide a birth certificate or some other document in order to prove that; otherwise how will the Immigration office know if she is my mother or some unknown woman that I am sponsoring on family visit visa. If my query is correct and I do need to provide my birth certificate showing that the applicant is genuinely my mother, then my problem is that my original birth certificate is in Urdu. Do I need to get it verified from Pakistani Embassy in Qatar? If yes, it is such a painful process because they'll ask to get the birth certificate verified from Ministy of Foreign Affairs first in which case I need to send it to Pakistan. Is there a way of getting out of this painful process, please help me?
