I highly doubt Qatari women not marrying who they want is going to cause protests... According to most of the Qatari women who frequent this website, the fact that their culture dictates who they marry, seems to be a win for them.

What would cause riots is if the majority of Qataris - ie those not within the "in" crowd don't get what the "in" crowd get, you might find there being some resentment... but over all, I think Qataris are happy with their lot - the only other issue that might be, are the ultra conservatives.... but thats a whole other story
