Hmmmm... Interesting that you say this.

Firstly, South African/Czech mix? which means these people have been out of SA for many many years, so their kids haven't grown up in SA and were not there for the change of leadership - and are just going on what their families say? - going to be long winded here, but to be fair - you cannot base Saffers on people you met in Prague:

If you know these people - they must be in what? 20-30yr age bracket? which means their parents had to have left SA to marry a Czech what? 25 - 30 years ago - I am not aware of a large Czech population in SA - They have never grown up in the "new" SA - the people that left before the "new" SA would have left during the apartheid regime, so haven't known about the changes, and stayed in that mind set - therefor their kids haven't grown up knowing anything different - only why their parent/s won't go back to SA.

Secondly, Interestingly enough, I had foreign friends visit SA and came back to ask me - "how do yo u live with them?" I was like, "live with who?"

There answer - "those dirty black people" - this from the same people who were anti-apartheid - and who see me as the least racist person they know - even coming from SA.
