Well, first of all I was one of the angry fans who were not allowed in and this was really a disgrace for all of us as I bought the tickets one month before the tournament through teh website just to make sure I dont miss the finals. I had my brother coming all the way from Jordan to attend the game but what can I say.
In the end I bought three tickets 120 QR does it really worth it to go through all these procedures and paper work and to wait until April to have these 120 QR back? I think the implicit cost of bad feelings generated by this event and the explicit cost (Air fares, travel,..etc) can not be returned. My heart are with those who flew in from out of Qatar just to attend the game, I dont think remboursing them will be enough!
Lets hope that lessons learned from such an event will benefit the organizing committees in upcomin events.
