@ nru - u were right - there is a court hearing
@ all - for all u guys note the following info
if u drive above 180km/hr then there is a court hearing in which the judge can impose fine of 5000-50000, and or seize the vehicle for 3-6 months, and or send u to jail for 3-6 months, and or cancel ur visa. But, if u have a valid reason, like i was taking my dad (cardiac patient) to emergency and i had a letter from HMC mentioning the date and time, then u don't end up in front of the judge and instead the traffic dept chief clears u off the charges.
